My two brothers and I spent five hours on LDFC with captain Ross and had a fantastic day fishing on the lake. Not only is Ross excellent at finding fish but he is also a great guy. We all had a lot of fun that day both laughing at Ross’s jokes and pulling in our limit of four large walleye each. My younger brother caught a 12 pound rainbow within the first fifteen minutes and after that we just kept catching walleye and perch. We released the smaller three walleye and several perch which kept eating our night crawlers. Ross has obviously been doing this for a long time as he is extremely knowledgeable about fish lore and has a great sense of humour. Kept us laughing the entire trip. He is also a master filleter. Just watching him do the job was really interesting and for a small extra price he vacuum packed the catch so we could freeze them and take them home to Calgary and Lethbridge. One of our best vacations, and we’ve had several over the past fifteen years.
